Dear My Beloved Children,

In light of recent passings (Hulk), I’m reminded how fleeting our time on this earth truly is. Life is brief, and we must make every moment count.

In the words of Marcus Aurelius, “We mortals are but shadows and dust.” Our lives are but a whisper in the wind. I urge you to serve God with all your heart. To me, serving God means stepping outside the ordinary and into the realm where you see your destiny with crystal clarity. Only you can see the path God has laid before you. Chase it with courage—achieve great accomplishments, never stop growing, and work hard every day to be better than the day before.

Let these moments inspire you to live boldly for God’s purpose. I love you beyond measure, and I pray you carry this wisdom always.

With all my love,

Dad

Dear Baby Girl,

You are absolutely beautiful, my precious gift from God. The day I delivered you into this world was a sacred moment, a bond we’ll always share. As you grow, set the tone for how others treat you—boys and girls alike—with respect and dignity.

Always do and say what’s right, no matter the situation or consequence. Don’t rush into thoughts of boys or dating; focus on discovering who you are and the incredible destiny God has for you. Never set limits on yourself, and keep your eyes wide open for life’s possibilities.

Stay steadfast in your faith in Jesus Christ, reading and studying your Bible. Treat everyone with respect, but don’t hold back on speaking your truth. Choose your friends wisely—better a few loyal ones than many who lead you astray. Read Lies Young Women Believe by Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth and Dannah Gresh to anchor your heart in God’s truth. Stay resilient, my girl, for your unique talents will shine through any challenge.

With all my love and prayers, Dad

PS Happy Early Birthday Baby Girl

A quick letter to my son

My dear son,

Always hold fast to your faith in God, no matter the circumstances you face. Stay grateful, honor yourself, and recognize the privilege you have to one day pursue public office. In this generation, it’s your duty to embrace civic responsibility. We must care for one another, reject hate and division, and remember we are all Americans.

Carry yourself with etiquette, moral duty, and an unwavering commitment to doing what’s right, regardless of consequences, rules, or occupation. One day, each of us will stand before our Creator, Jesus Christ, and be judged.

Choose quality over quantity in all things, especially in friendships. Surround yourself with a few loyal, upright, and steadfast friends. Be cautious about who you trust—read How to Win Friends & Influence People by Dale Carnegie to build genuine connections and Six-Minute X-Ray by Chase Hughes to sharpen your ability to understand others.

Read and study your Bible diligently, and know the Constitution well—it’s your guide.

With all my love and prayers, Dad
